As if we needed an excuse to add a bit of life to your daily protein dose, this smoothie is inspired by the burst of colors of an Easter egg. And hopefully, it will spark as much joy when you see how it turns out. And the best thing? You'll be able to whip it up in just 10 minutes. No previous prep required—all you need is your compact portable blender, frozen fruit, and ideally some superfood powders to take the colors to the next level.

Here's how to make an incredibly colorful protein smoothie that not only looks like a striped Easter egg but is also delicious and incredibly nutritious. This, of course, if you follow HESTIA's easy recipe.

This is what you'll need:

Yellow base

  • 1/2 cup frozen bananas
  • 1/2 cup frozen mango
  • 1/2 scoop vanilla protein powder
  • 1 cup water/milk of choice

Purple base

  • 1/2 cup frozen bananas
  • 1/2 cup frozen berries
  • 1/2 scoop vanilla protein powder
  • 1 cup water/milk of choice

For super styling your smoothie, you'll also need:

  • Greek yogurt
  • Blue Spirulina, super reds, or super greens powder

Here's how to make it with your HESTIA portable blender:

  1. Using a spoon, spread a bit of Greek yogurt on the walls of your serving glass, trying to resemble the straight lines of typical Easter eggs.
  2. Sprinkle a bit of your blue Spirulina, super greens, or super reds powder on the walls of your glass.
  3. Here come the easiest steps. Blend all your ingredients for your yellow base. Once smooth, pour into your glass, keeping it about halfway to maintain your Easter egg look.
